About

Built by people who
run these estates

Zephto came out of consulting work, not a product roadmap. The check set is the accumulated list of things that turned out to be wrong in real enterprise Azure, Foundry, Databricks and Fabric environments — written down so it stops depending on who happens to be looking.

The origin

A checklist that got too long to keep in a head

BluFox Group spends its days inside large Microsoft estates — migrations, identity consolidation, platform and data work in healthcare and enterprise. The cost conversation showed up in every one of them, usually late, usually after someone had committed to a number. Then AI arrived and the conversation got worse, because the new spend bills in units nobody in finance had seen before.

Zephto is that analysis, made repeatable: the same questions asked the same way every run, versioned so the answer is comparable across estates and across time instead of depending on which consultant showed up and what they happened to have read that month.

What that means for the output. A practitioner reads every run before you do. That is the step a pure SaaS tool skips, and it is the reason the list holds up when your engineers push back on it.

Positions

What we will not do

No write access

We do not hold the keys

Handing a vendor the ability to change your estate is how teams lose track of their own reservations, commitments and model deployments. Read-only is a design decision, not a limitation we are working around.

No prompt access

We do not read your prompts

Every AI check we run works from token counts, configuration and billing telemetry. Reading prompt bodies would add nothing to the findings and a great deal to your risk register.

No stale checks

Versioned, or it is not an audit

This category changes monthly. A check set without a version number and a changelog is a snapshot of whatever the author knew when they wrote it, and there is no way for you to tell how old that is.

Azure, Microsoft Foundry, Databricks and Fabric are what the check set covers today. AWS and Google Cloud coverage is in development — the collectors exist and the pricing work is done, and we would rather say that than list a logo we cannot audit properly yet.

Talk to a practitioner, not a funnel

The first conversation is with someone who has actually run one of these audits.
