Talk it through

The first assessment is free. One subscription or workspace, the full check set, the real workbook. If the findings do not cover the annual price several times over, there is nothing to talk about and we would rather find that out in week one.

Questions that come up

Before you ask

Why not a percentage of savings

Because it changes what gets reported. A vendor paid on savings has an interest in the number being large, and every judgement call in the report bends the same way. A flat price means the realization adjustment can be conservative without costing us anything.

What if we act on nothing

Then you have paid for a list and an argument, and both are still yours. There is no clawback and no minimum action. The second run tells you what changed anyway.

Does the price rise with our bill

Only at a tier boundary, and the boundaries are on this page. A tier is about the size of the estate we are reading, not the size of the saving we find in it.

Can we start with one workspace

That is the recommended way in. One subscription or one Databricks workspace is enough to see whether the check set has anything on you.

What happens between runs

Nothing bills. On the Professional and Enterprise tiers the next run compares against the last, so a fix that was reverted or a workload that regrew shows up as a change rather than as a new finding.

Is there a per-seat cost for the workbook

No. Both artifacts are yours to circulate inside your organisation, including to auditors and to a parent company’s finance function.

The first one is free

One subscription or workspace, the full check set, and the real workbook at the end of it.
